Jurassic World

It’s been 20+ years since the original Jurassic Park film by Steven Spielberg, but that film still lives on in the memories of old and young, so I can only imagine the fear that Universal Pictures have with releasing a new film into the franchise (4th film).

The film is set 20 years after the original film, with the original concept of a theme park now fully up and running, like a well oiled machine, well that is until the scientists get a little carried away. The roll in your standard, run away from dinosaurs film.

Will this be better than the 2 sequels? I would like to hope so, although 2 wasn’t that bad, the 3rd film was poor in comparison. Going from the trailer, the film looks exciting and I love the way they have adapted to old theme tune at the end of the trailer. My only concern would be the CGI, it looks a little ropey, but they do have 6 months to work on that before release.

Jurassic World, directed by Colin Trevorrow and starring Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jake Johnson, Judy Greer and Vincent D’Onofrio is in UK cinemas on 12th June 2015.
